Agency Programs

Services:  PFL enhances individual performance through an array of services to the client.  Our services focus on the safety, permanency and well being of the individual.  Most notably clients receive a life coach/mentor, case management, counseling, work readiness training, life skills training, in-home assessments, assistance with housing, domestic violence counseling, and strength-based programming.  Each service is rooted in the effort to enhance skill development to impact personal responsibility, self-awareness and esteem, self-discipline, goal setting, and educational and work engagement to name a few.

PFL coaches the participant to draw on their inner-visions, aspirations and dreams while helping them identify their motivation, energy, direction and perseverance.  PFL encourages goal-setting and reviews each participant’s commitment and mission to the programs while establishing a plan of action to achieve their assessed goals.  Finally, PFL models life application of each domain covered by its varying workshops, empowerment track and curriculum.

LEAD:  Leadership, Engagement, Advocacy, and Development.  LEAD acts as a portal program for clients to navigate the Department of Children and Family Services as well as other government and private agency systems to achieve family reunification and stabilization.  This program focuses on the investment of skills associated to the client's growth to self-sufficiency through basic and advanced self-advocacy, etiquette, rights, education and other trainings to the individual, public and private sector interested in child welfare.  The overall goal is to enhance the fundamental capabilities of families to grow, reunite and sustain themselves resourcefully.
