Curriculum and Empowerment Themes

As participants acquire the skills offered in the PFL curriculum, they will increase their feelings of accomplishments and improve their self-confidence, respect, and esteem.

They will increase their feelings of empowerment and be better able to cope with the various life altering and transitional situations they meet in their daily life.

PFL's Curriculum & Empowerment Themes cover but is not limited to the following themes:

·     Image/character/personality

·     Attitude/feelings/emotions

·     Conflict Resolution

·     Communication

·     Responsibility (Self, Civic & Community)

·     Survival skills (hygiene, health, etc.)
